About 'The Last Con'

About the Show

Howie Seago and Nat Wilson will present, in artful and comedic enhancement, using American Sign Language, a dramatic adaptation of a medieval French farce titled "The Last Con".  The show is approximately 75 minutes long and features these two internationally renowned Deaf actors portraying five characters in full costume and performing a rollicking, rambunctious battle of wits.  This presentation is truly unique in its reflection of the old days" as performed in old style signing, gestures and mime without vocal narration.

About the Actors

After gaining hard-earned recognition as high-caliber actors during their stints with the National Theater of the Deaf, Seago and Wilson pursued separate careers in show business.  Seago appeared in guest roles on Star Trek, Hunter and the Equalizer. He also appeared in Beyond Silence, an Oscar Award nominee for Best Foreign Film in 1998. He then spent several years teaching drama at NTID in Rochester.  Wilson remained in the National Theater of the Deaf with whom he toured internationally for 12 years.  Now, these two fine actors have combined their energy, experience, creativity and passion for theatre into Deaf Moose Theatre, an independently run theatrical company where they converted their dreams into reality.  (Sponsor) is fortunate to have the opportunity to host the spectacularly unique "The Last Con" by this wonderfully talented team.
